Abstract deadline to apply for a talk: February 28, 2025
Abstract deadline for poster presenters and final registration: April 07, 2025
Travel grants
Travel funds are only awarded to PhD students or postdocs based on the quality of the abstract submitted. PhD students and postdocs chosen to present a talk at the Microsymposium will receive a travel stipend of 200,- EUR [Europe] / 800,- EUR [Worldwide].
Registration fee waivers
To apply for a registration fee waiver, you must be a young scientist of any nationality. First, complete the registration process. Then, send an email to lea.klement@imba.oeaw.ac.at explaining the following:
• Why you want to attend the meeting.
• What you hope to gain from it.
• The reason you are requesting a fee waiver.
Make sure your email includes a brief but clear explanation of these points.
Participants will be notified as soon as possible if they are selected for a waiver.
Abstract submission (optional):
Abstracts must be submitted separately via an online form. You will receive the link for submission after your registration in the email with your “Events order confirmation”.
Only abstracts submitted by registered participants before the specified deadline can be considered for oral or poster presentation.
Poster information
Dimensions for our magnetic poster boards: 70 x 100 cm. The poster must be in portrait format / orientation.
Cancellation conditions:
Before 30 April 2025: 100% refund.
No refunds will be made after 30 April 2025.
