Abstract deadline for poster presenters and final registration: May 19
*UPDATE ON SPEAKERS FROM ABSTRACT
The RNA Microsymposium has long provided a platform for junior researchers to present their work and expand their professional networks. In this spirit, we are now also inviting abstract submissions from recently established independent junior group leaders (within their first four years as PI). By increasing their visibility within the community, we aim to strengthen connections across all career stages and support the next generation of scientists
Travel grants and registration fee waivers
To apply for a registration fee waiver, applicants must be young scientists of any nationality. Please register under "WAIVER APPLICATION" and provide a brief explanation detailing your motivation for attending the meeting, what you hope to gain from it, and the reasons for your waiver request. The application deadline for waivers is April 21. Confirmation of fee waivers will be sent out by early May.
Travel funds are awarded to PhD students, postdocs, and junior group leaders based on the quality of the abstract submitted. Those chosen to give a talk at the Microsymposium will receive a travel stipend of 200 EUR (Europe) or 800 EUR (Worldwide).
The organizers will assess talk and waiver applications after the deadlines. Participants will be notified as soon as possible if they are selected for a waiver and/or talk.
Abstract submission (optional):
Abstracts must be submitted separately via an online form. You will receive the link for submission after your registration in the email with your “Events order confirmation”.
Only abstracts submitted by registered participants before the specified deadline can be considered for oral or poster presentation.
